This is the Forclaz MT900 tent. This is the top of the range Decathlon backpacking tent. The Decathlon MT900 tent strikes the perfect balance of cost, weight and size. This is a 2 person tent tapered to fit two sleeping mats.

So I traded in my Vango Nova 300 tent for the Simond MT900 tent, Iv had it out on a pretty bad night and it was solid i really like it. I got MSR groundhog pegs as an upgrade and Iv Dyneema guy lines to add too.

So, the main advantage of this MT900 model is if you want to use your mobile like you can use your mobile or if you're going for workstation or something or eating or you are going for toilet it is pretty useful this one and when you don't or don't want to use the glove, if you want to remove this, there is a loop. See? Here one, two. Just pull this off. It will come off. It's a pretty amazing.

The MT900 UL from Decathlon offers excellent value for money, making it a great entry point into ultralight hiking.

I'm very excited today to do the unboxing and have a first look at the new Decathlon ultralight backpack. It's called Simmons MT900 UL for ultral light. And uh there was already an ultralight backpacking uh backpack from Decathlon which is now renamed from ultral light into light uh which is slightly heavier but much more um featureful.

I own both pads, and I wouldn't recommend either of them. I bought the Big Agnes Rapide SL in 2024, right after it received its update. The new version was supposed to be lighter and warmer than the previous one, but I find it gets cold when temperatures drop below about 7°C (45°F). I can clearly feel the cold from the ground coming through the pad.

The Forclaz MT900 is advertised for use up to -18°C, but in reality doesn't prove up to a challenge anywhere near that. However, it's still a good multifunction down jacket at a good price point. For many occasional users, or users in anything but really cold environments, this jacket can certainly be a good choice.
