Despite careful use, I discovered a handful of scratches just a few days into using the Magnus Evo. With how often I use my desk for both work and gaming, I would have expected a little more durability from its surface. I wasn't even working for a good duration of my time reviewing the desk, which made me even more surprised how quickly scratches had surfaced.Read I
Like the Magnus Pro that precedes it, the Magnus Evo is made from a combination of MDF and steel, with a stable inverted-T base, thick legs with integrated electric motors, and a wide (59-inch or 70-inch) desktop that's 25 inches deep and 0.8 inches thick.Read C

Early hands-on reviews suggest it successfully carves out a compelling niche for gamers and professionals seeking a high-quality, adjustable desk without the Pro's premium price tag.Read T
Day to day, the Magnus Evo is great. I’ve tried a handful of different setups, ranging from super simple to quite complex with this desk, and it’s handled them all.Read T
And after having this bad boy in my office for the last two weeks, it might be my new recommendation for not just gamers, but creatives too as their WFH desk of choice.Read M

I think it’s nice that they’re introducing a stripped down version of the pro and I do really appreciate the commitment to the accessories they’ve already developed, but it definitely isn’t for me. I run a dual WFH/Gaming setup with TONS of peripherals. I think I might find not having a full length cable tray a detriment to my setup.Read M
And after using it for a whole month, I found that there are three things to love about it and two things to hate about it, which made me question whether I should keep using the desk or not. And full disclosure, Secret Lab did send this out for me to review, but I wasn't paid to say anything good or bad about it. So, if something sucks, you'll definitely know about it.Watch T
That being said, it is a compromise in some regards. So let me tell you about my experience so far.Read N
