After using both Ring Alarm Pro and Simply Safe, I can confidently say they each have their strengths, but Simply Safe edges out as the better overall security system, at least for me. Setup-wise, both were easy to install, but Simply Safe was faster and more intuitive. I didn't even need tools. The peel and stick sensors made setup a breeze.

In practice, the built-in Eero radio is weaker than a standalone Eero Pro and the base station is often placed where you would put a security panel, not where you would put a router. Basements, closets, and utility rooms are terrible for WiFi coverage. Smart home devices drop off because they are on the edge of the mesh range.
