Setup was simple. Standard 120V power into the control unit, mount that onto the caddy, and route the cable so it's clean and off the deck. This great pool automatic robot cleaner I have had for a few years now and it lasts on taking out plastic for years and it will last you. One of the great things about a corded pool cleaner is the ability to put it in the pool and let it run on a set recurring basis.

My 4 year old Polaris VRX IQ+ Pool Cleaner, started throwing an Error 10 code, which is a communication error between the Motor Controller Block and the LED Display Control Unit, when I tried to run it in the pool. After some research on YouTube and the InterWebs, I determined that it was either the Motor Control Block that is the underside of the robot, or the cable.
