This is the much awaited OnePlus Pad 3 and I can't explain how amazing this tablet experience has been. Watch your favorite movies on the go, play tons of games, and even do your productive office work. Now, OnePlus has stacked so many features in here that it's hard to comprehend. Firstly, just holding this mammoth 13.2 in canvas in your hands is so serial. So, should you buy the OnePlus Pad 3? Well, honestly, if you're in the market for a premium Android tablet that does nearly everything right, then this is a really great buy. We've got that lovely screen, awesome powerful performance, a really good battery, and some fancy AI software, plus some really great accessories, but again, it's not OLED. It's not an OLED

But personally, I do prefer OLED on my tablets, especially for watching content, which is one of my main uses for a tablet. I also have to give the edge to the Samsung for outdoor visibility. The anti-reflective coating that they're using makes a huge difference under the sun. This one here, it's pretty reflective. Now, what I do love on the OnePlus is the 7x5 aspect ratio. Sure, you get more black bars at the top and bottom when watching content, but for me, the trade-off is worth it because the extra vertical space makes multitasking, browsing, gaming, or even just holding in portrait mode feel a lot less cramped.

So yeah, this is the OnePlus Pad 3. Still an excellent tablet. If I start to give a score for it, like within just the Android space, this is easily like a 9 out of 10. But just if I look at it from the whole like grand scheme of thing in the entire industry, then this drops to like a 7 and 1 half out of 10

The OnePlus Pad 3 has better hardware in many ways, but the software ecosystem is simply holding it back from being the perfect Android tablet. If you're a student using Google Docs, watching Netflix, browsing the web, and maybe checking some emails, you will be absolutely fine with the OnePlus. But if you want to do serious creative work or want something mostly for productivity, the iPad is still the king

But what I hadn't noticed at the time, which is a bit of a disappointment, was the difference in HDR performance. In fact, digging deeper, this goes well beyond the Netflix compatibility that was mentioned by people in the comment section. I actually think OnePlus just hasn't built any HDR capability into the software of this tablet for some reason, which is really odd because the screen should be capable of it. It has 600 nits of brightness or 900 in highlight mode. It covers 98% of the P3 color space.
