You pay a premium grass-fed price for a plain concentrate that delivers only around 72 percent protein by scoop weight, a figure reviewers call not great, and Nutricost and Equate do the same job for much less. Reddit owners also mark the unflavored version not recommended on taste grounds.

For me, Vanilla Naked Whey ticks every box. It’s clean, effective, and easy to use, the kind of supplement that supports my training and recovery without any of the extras I don’t want. Plus, it doesn't hurt my stomach. It’s earned its place in my cupboard, and I’ll be keeping it in my recovery toolkit for future training blocks and races. This is a protein I’ll keep buying, because it actually works for me. Which is incredible. I have never found a protein that doesn't have any side effects and cares about its cow as much as this one win-win-win.Read L Luminous Luminous · 10.3K subscribers · Aug 2024

Naked Whey continues to earn our best overall pick thanks to its impressively short ingredient list, third-party certification and reasonable price. The powder mixes easily and is available in five flavors, plus an unflavored variety. Each two-scoop-size serving provides an impressive 25 grams of protein to support muscle synthesis and is relatively low in calories and saturated fat.Read D Dr. Catie - Resident Doctor Dr. Catie - Resident Doctor · 1.4K subscribers · May 2026

Naked whey protein powder is a top choice for individuals seeking a high quality, clean and natural whey protein powder. What sets it apart is its simple and transparent ingredient list as it contains only one ingredient, pure whey protein concentrate. This whey protein powder is sourced from small dairy farms in California that prioritize grass-fed cows for their milk production. This ensures a non-denatured whey protein that is rich in essential amino acids, clean protein, and glutathione. What's great about Naked Whey is that it is free from artificial sweeteners, flavors, and colors. It is also GMO free, growth hormone free, soyf free, and gluten-free, making it suitable for individuals with dietary sensitivities.Watch I Instagram Instagram post

Whilst Naked Whey offers 25g of protein per serving, it’s very low on carbs (only 2.4g per serving). If you were looking to gain lean muscle mass then this may suit, but as endurance athletes it’s also important to replace the carbohydrates post-exercise. I find using either semi-skimmed or whole milk helps to boost these numbers further, allowing you to reduce the amount of Naked Whey and stretch out your servings.Read L Lu Reviews Lu Reviews · 13 subscribers · Jul 2026
There's some Organ brands or powders that I would like prefer over this, but in terms of the nutrition, it's there cuz it's only three ingredients. There's 25 g of protein per two scoops. It does come with the scooper, 5 g of sugar, 8 g of carbs, and 150 calories. So, I would say this is like more of the hell conscious option. And yeah, like I said, it could be sweeter, at least for me, but maybe because it's so healthy. That's why it's like missing some of the sweetness mixability.Watch B
Popular among athletes and fitness enthusiasts, naked whey supports muscle recovery and helps meet increased protein requirements. However, as a food supplement derived from milk, it is unsuitable for individuals with cow's milk protein allergy and should complement, not replace, a varied and balanced diet.Read M
On the other hand, the main downside of Naked Whey is that it contains whey protein concentrate instead of isolate. The former has more impurities and may contain trace amounts of lactose and fats, which could be a trigger in people with sensitivities.Read
