After plugging the MA1 into your vehicle’s USB type-A port and pairing your Android phone, you’ll be able to automatically reconnect to Android Auto, Google Maps and Google Play Apps at the beginning of every subsequent trip without reaching for a USB cable. Should you wish to go back to a wired connection to charge and stream on a longer trip, simply disconnect the dongle. This is a small but welcome quality-of-life upgrade for older Android Auto-capable vehicles that only support wired connectivity, and (with the 2026 Spring Sale discounts ) a great, inexpensive mod for drivers who are frequently in and out of their cars. Uh the Motorola MA1 has a simple job of just creating the turning your wired Android Auto to the wireless. It seems to do it great. I had no issues uh and everything's been working great so far. And again, I've been using it for the last 3 months and just about every day and no problems at all with it.

So, look, if you've got a gadget person in your life, you got an Android phone owner who's got Android Auto in their car and you want to upgrade your car without having to buy a whole new car just to get wireless Android Auto, check out the MA1. It's tough to get on Amazon. I actually waited many, many months checking, checking, checking, and finally seeing it in stock and getting it. But, this thing is worth 100 bucks.
