On the other hand, the Cinema 30 seems to have a significantly better preamp section, which would eRead thread A

So, I love the fact that Japan engineering is very conservative in their ratings. You guys are really transparent about that. And another cool thing, just to give more props, is you guys have shared with me measurements that I can't share here. On the Cinema 30, it's IP, it's Roswell technology. But, one thing I love about you guys is when I measure your products, I send you my test reports.Watch T TikTok TikTok post

I was able to watch movies at reference volume. The Cinema 30 never shut off. Um, it didn't really sound strained. Um, I didn't get a sense that it was running out of gas. It's got a pretty beefy power supply, but again, we are powering 11 speakers.Watch A

They're very efficient, so I don't have a doubt that they can power them. But can they power them to reference volume? That's really what I want to do. But guess what? JP is back in the house. So pretty decent amplification. So that means that out of the box without adding any external amplifiers, you can use this receiver to run a 7.4.4 four. So that's seven ear level channels, four subwoofers, and four height channels, all just with the one AVR.Watch F Facebook Syed Ali Zaidi · owner
I would only go for AVR with Dirac ART support. Thus, Marantz Cinema 30 (or similar Denon X6800H) is a better bet.View post G

The Cinema 30 nails both. In surround mode, it's thunderous but controlled. In stereo mode, it's downright audio file grade. That's not a term I throw around lightly. I paired it with a set of KFR7 Metas and later tried the Bowowers and Wilkins 705 S3s. Both setups sounded rich, textured, and alive.Watch F Facebook Dean Steven Rogers · owner
