A 2020-vintage model that has been passed by the current generation: PC Gamer's long-standing 1080p streaming recommendation was the Elgato Facecam Mk.2, and the Obsbot Meet 2 now offers 4K and 1080p60 with better software, making the StreamCam the coasting legacy option in its price class.

The Logitech Streamcam is a few years old, but it's still competitive with more recent models. This 1080p, 60fps camera records in both horizontal and vertical orientations, making it equally useful for TikTok as for video calls. Otherwise, dual microphones capture reasonably clear audio, and the Logitech Capture app provides useful software support.Read R

My final thoughts are it doesn't matter which of these two you choose, they're both outstanding webcams.Watch D
The Logitech Streamcam is pitched at streamers, but you don't have to be a YouTuber or Twitch presenter to enjoy it. In fact, I believe it's one of the best Mac webcams on the market today for most people. Compatible with macOS 10.14 and above, it offers excellent 1080p 60fps resolution and a 78-degree field of view.Read T
Today we're talking about the Logitech StreamCam, Logitech's dedicated webcam for streamers and content creators. With crisp 1080p 60 video, smart auto framing, and vertical mode, it's been a go-to for many.Watch E
Of all the webcams I tested, I had the most fun using Logitech's Streamcam . While it's a bit weird to say I "had fun" with such an innocuous piece of tech, I found the Streamcam to be remarkable in many ways. First and foremost, the video quality is excellent, coming in at a sharp 1080p/60fps.Read D
While the Logitech C922 Pro has staked out a place as a near-ubiquitous camera for conferences and the like, the Logitech Streamcam is a newer model that’s pitched directly toward streamers. Its video quality is excellent, with 1080p 60fps footage that looks excellent.Read

Logitech’s StreamCam is one of the most capable webcams we’ve come across. A feature-rich powerhouse, this webcam can deliver crystal clear 1080p video streams with exceptional quality at an impressive 60 frames per second. It ships with two mounts — one clips on your screen while the other is more like a tripod.Read M
Now, this is a major detractor for some people. For me, the camera's sitting behind my monitor or on top of my monitor, and I don't really have to worry about moving it around, so I don't really care if it detaches or not. But the cable length is not very long. It's actually a fairly short cable. So, if your camera is located a fair distance from your computer, you might run into some issues.Watch S
In regards to sharpness, the Streamcam cannot product a shallow depth of field or blurry background by focusing on a subject any farther than about 6 inches away. A DSLR with this low of an f-stop would be able to do this no problem, but maybe the Streamcam’s sensor is just too small.Read G
The StreamCam has some room for improvement as far as image quality goes in my opinion. Some of the features with the StreamCam are really cool. Right now, tracking is off. I can turn it on simply by going like this. Now, I have the tracking on. It will follow me. The tracking works really well.Watch I
The StreamCam’s out-of-the-box picture is dark, so adjusting settings, including brightness, contrast, and sharpness, is a must; this can be done using Logitech’s software or OBS.Read
