But personally I can’t help but really like this speaker cause it looks and sounds great. Now personally, I think that if you're actively looking for a large bluetooth speaker then the Partybox 310 is going to be just fine. This thing really jams with clear vocals, full bass and cool lighting effects. It is also IPX4 water resistant so you can even use it near the pool or in the rain with no worries. If you are looking for a portable deep bass party speaker this may just be the one for you.

This Partybox 710 is just a beast. It also seems to sound a bit brighter in the upper range than the 310.

So, I say on paper the 710 actually has a slightly more promising driver layout. But, we'll see how that converts to actual sound, obviously. Frequency response, the 720 has 32 Hz to 20 kHz, and the 710 has 35 Hz to 20 kHz. So, we got 3 Hz lower on the 720. And that would just be due to the bigger woofers. It can create a slightly lower, deeper bass. We'd expect that.

Now soundwise, for me it sounds very good for its league. Its better than some party speakers and some pa speakers from other high end brands but thats my opinion and thats subjective rather. I will be honest, this speaker sounds very good but when you crank it up at 45 volume and above it goes from very good to okay.

Of course, the lights from JBL Party Box 710 are much much better than the lights from the Samsung MXT70 that only has lights on the subwoofer and on the bottom of the speaker. But let's see the specs of these two amazing speakers. So, the JBL Party Box 710 have 800 watts of power that comes from two tweeters and two 8 in woofers.

For the buyer who has confirmed that AC-only power works for their use case, this price is competitive. For the buyer still weighing 710 versus 720, the price gap is real, and battery portability is the primary thing that gap buys.

710 can go deeper than 520. Loudness, I'd say almost the same or +2db on 710.
