Although the Hilleberg Allak 2 folds up compact enough to fit inside a backpack, it's strong, sturdy, and built to face the elements. In fact, it didn't wobble a bit during an especially windy evening on the California coastline. And when we were caught in a sudden storm with thunder, lightning, ground flooding, and high winds, this well-made tent kept us totally dry overnight.

It was a really good camp and the tent performed brilliantly! The wild blew my camera over and broke it so I had no audio for the majority of the video, I talked a lot more about my kit and about Alfred wainwright but the camping gods didn't play ball and so this is the best I could do.

I had a great time testing new camping gear and sleeping on the edge of a cliff, listening to the waves as I drifted off to sleep. I also managed a dunk in the sea, and in a waterfall the next day which was a much needed blowing out of the cobwebs. Thanks to everyone for watching, I really do appreciate all the support.

One of the main things for me that I love about this tent is the options that you have with ventilation, there are so many sort of internal vents that even in the depths of winter when it's snowing and you're breathing in your tent, I don't get condensation cuz I open all the vents on the inside and it's even when there's no wind, it just doesn't seem to get condensation like no other tent.

My Hilleberg Allak 2 has lots of space inside for two, but for just me tonight it’s a palace! But, I have added a porch, a hooped awning out over the front area, so Kit and I can sit and have some shelter if it rains.

We found this tent to be exceptional. This tent is not for everyone but if you are looking for a lightweight quality tent and you take your camping, hunting, outdoors seriously the Hilleberg is absolutely the tent for you.

To be honest, there weren't that many aspects of the tent that I didn't like, but the one main issue that I did have, which was the reason I ended up selling the tent, was set up in high winds. Putting a tent up is often a bit of a learned skill that requires practice.

Personally I think the Hilleberg Allak 2 is overpriced but wouldn't say no to having one haha but the Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 in my opinion is the best of both worlds cheap but still has some of the qualities that make the Hilleberg Allak 2 a great tent.
