More expensive than other Dyson vacuums on this listRead C
With the downsized frame, there are compromises the most significant is the small dustbin capacity a 0.35-liter volume, which is 50% smaller than a full-sized Dyson stick vacuum. The V12 was one of the first Dyson stick vacuums with a push button switch. An oversized button on top of the motor, screaming push me!Watch M
Some are positive and some are not. The bin is the first thing. It's quite a small bin and the bin is 35% smaller than a V7 or a V8. So, it's like a V7 or a V8 but with a smaller bin that weighs the same. Again, where's the where's the logic to that? This is the first Dyson cordless that didn't have a trigger. So, instead of the trigger, it has the big red button on top here to switch it on.Watch

The Dyson V12 Detect Slim was notably loud to multiple people in our office, though it comes in at 84 decibels, just like the Gen 5, something potentially explained by a difference in pitch.Read R
The junction where the main body meets the extension wand utilizes a spring‑loaded quick‑release collar. Inches lesser vacuums, this collar is prone to lateral play after a few months of twisting around.Watch
