With straight hair styles growing in popularity in 2026, I’ve no doubt the airstrait will eventually overtake the airwrap as the ‘must-have’ device. As with any Dyson device, you need to know what you want from the airstrait before committing to its high price. In this case: smooth, straight strands.

The power that this hair tool has is incredible. I am able to pretty much smooth out my hair from wet hair to completely dry hair in one pass. Like that's all I need with the Dyson. Just one pass will do it.

The Airwrap isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty damn close. And if you’re looking for a tool that can do a little bit of everything, including straightening, it’s worth every penny. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go touch up my hair— the Airwrap is calling.

The point stands for any Dyson hairstyling product, this is just the fastest and most convenient though! I will always add bit of oil to tame flyaways but I didn’t add any in order to show you that the airstrait itself will add so much shine!

Overall, for anyone debating if the Dyson Airwrap justifies its cost, if styling your hair is a regular part of your routine and you want to minimize damage while having multiple styling options, I highly recommend it.

This works well because it not only dries my hair but simultaneously straightens it. Have been using it for a month now and very happy with it. Works well for my hairtype which is prone to lot of frizz.

Our interest was well and truly piqued when GHD launched its Duet Style, and we were just as excited with the subsequent launch of the Dyson Airstrait (not Dyson Airstraight as some searches suggest!).

All I can say is wow! To go from wet to dry and have straight hair in under 15 minutes is very impressive. I used the dry function to rough dry first, then straightened.
