What I love about the Arkel Coast is the volumetric buttons. There's volumetric for the hot water as well as brewing. So I've set a button to naturally purge and you'll see in a sec I'll use the hot water button to fill up my cup and it will stop perfectly. The other thing I love about the Arkel Coast is that the hot water comes from the brew boiler.

Today we have a very interesting machine from Portugal, the Arkel Coast. It's a machine we haven't heard much about until now, and we want to change that. But see for yourselves. The Aral Coast, as I said, is an interesting machine that we received from the company Bruce Byer to test. We actually met Lucas recently at the Frankfurt Coffee Festival.

I find it beautiful and well-made, and even if I have to say it's visually in the same league as mine. The scope of delivery includes everything, and that's all good. I have a nice wooden temperature that fits the hand very, very well.

Looks to be an interesting entry into the dual boiler market with manual pressure profiling. Solid build with stainless steel for most of the main components, and a very different aesthetic compared to most of the saturated group machines.

And that's how I experienced the Arkel Coast of Arkel. Arkel is a manufacturer in Portugal that has been building espresso machines for a few years now, from the individual component to the finished machine. A great deal of work is done in their own facilities, and they consistently rely on products or parts that would otherwise come from Europe.
