Allbirds markets the Wool Runner 2 as a sustainable, comfortable option, but RTINGS finds its sole too thin for extended walking and Wirecutter says it “lacks durability.” It’s good casual shoe but not a true everyday walker.

I had an issue with tightness around the tongue on these shoes and it didn’t go away in my week of testing, so I had to unfortunately return them for this reason. I also found that small stones seemed to get into the deeper grooves of the new outsole easier which was a bit annoying but not a significant issue. And again, as in the original, I wish the laces were longer.Read W
