Frequently asked questions
Bio Ionic Long Barrel Curling Iron sits at #1 in the S tier of our consolidated board, ranked across independent research runs over 77 cited reviews, videos and discussions. The current consensus best overall from Allure and Byrdie, with long-term owners calling it reliable after years of use. The rare modern tool already showing multi-year staying power.
Hot Tools Pro Artist Digital Curling Iron ranks #2 (S tier). Southern Living's Best Overall at a mainstream price is the single best performance-per-dollar on the board. Digital heat control plus pro-brand build for everyday money is exactly what this lens exists to find.
Our research places Hoson 1 Inch Ceramic Curling Iron, Cloud Nine The Curling Wand, Conair InfinitiPRO Curl Secret Automatic Curling Iron, SRI CurlQ Curling Iron, InStyler Cerasilk Curling Iron, Beachwaver PRO Curling Iron, L'ANGE HAIR Le Duo Grande Airflow Styler, Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x, Conair Double Ceramic Curling Iron, Mark Hill Pick ’n’ Mix Curling Wand in the bottom tiers (D/F). Hoson 1 Inch Ceramic Curling Iron: The cheapest ticket to a working ceramic iron, which this lens nominally loves, but with zero expert testing behind it, it cannot be placed above proven tools. A serviceable gamble, nothing more.
