Parents who want a premium electric swing and are willing to pay for it. The Uppababy Mamaroo Smart Swing is in A tier, with an aluminum frame that resists wear, high-quality upholstery and a lifetime warranty on the base. Reviewers note cost as the main hesitation. If you want the best-reviewed swing regardless of features, the S tier Graco Glider LX Gliding Swing ranks higher. If app control is the draw, the Graco SmartSense Soothing Baby Swing delivers that for less. ### How long does the Uppababy Mamaroo Smart Swing last? It is built to outlast its use. The aluminum frame resists wear, the upholstery is high quality, and Uppababy backs the swing base with a lifetime warranty, the longest on our board. Reviewers record no cons for the Uppababy Mamaroo Smart Swing. ### Is the Uppababy Mamaroo Smart Swing worth the extra cost? Only if the premium frame and lifetime base warranty matter to you. The Uppababy Mamaroo Smart Swing is the swing parents talk about most when they want advanced features, but the Graco Glider LX Gliding Swing ranks above it in S tier at a lower cost. Cost concerns are the one reservation reviewers raise. ### Can a baby sleep in the Uppababy Mamaroo Smart Swing? No. Use the Uppababy Mamaroo Smart Swing for supervised awake soothing only. Safe sleep is a flat, firm surface on the back. Move a baby who falls asleep to a crib or bassinet. ### How do you clean the Uppababy Mamaroo Smart Swing? Remove the seat fabric and wash it on a gentle cycle, then air dry, as is standard for swing upholstery. Wipe the aluminum frame and base with a damp cloth and keep liquid away from the motor housing and any electronics. Check the care label on the Uppababy Mamaroo Smart Swing before the first wash. ## What this tier means - A: Excellent. Strongly recommended, beaten only by the very best. ## How to read this - Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand. - LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories. - Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review. - A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above. ## Image https://stspimgdevmfyk46r5vwkay.blob.core.windows.net/images/products/uppababy-mamaroo-smart-swing.webp Product photographs are not covered: they belong to their respective owners and are reproduced to illustrate the product being reviewed.
