## Frequently asked questions

### Who is the Secretlab Titan Evo NanoGen Edition for?

Someone who wants the Secretlab Titan Evo but worries about peeling. The NanoGen hybrid leatherette is softer, more supple and rated more durable than the standard material, on the same frame with the same warranty, and it is IGN's best gaming chair pick. It costs meaningfully more than the base chair, so if the peel risk does not apply to you, the Secretlab Titan Evo is the better buy. If you want no leatherette at all, the Fractal Design Refine offers mesh and fabric with nothing to flake.

### How long does the Secretlab Titan Evo NanoGen Edition last?

The frame and warranty are the same as the Secretlab Titan Evo, so expect the same structural life. The upholstery is rated more durable than the standard hybrid leatherette that can peel at year 3 to 5, but it is new and lacks multi-year field data, so that rating is a claim rather than an owner record yet.

### What is different about the Secretlab Titan Evo NanoGen Edition upholstery?

The NanoGen hybrid leatherette is the whole difference. It is softer and more supple than the standard material and is rated more durable, which directly answers the peeling complaint that is the one con against the base Secretlab Titan Evo. Everything else, the frame, the mechanism and the warranty, is shared.

### Does the Secretlab Titan Evo NanoGen Edition have the same warranty as the Secretlab Titan Evo?

Yes. The pack records the same frame and the same warranty as the base Secretlab Titan Evo, which runs up to 5 years with the free social-share extension. The spare-parts ecosystem is shared too.

## What this tier means

- A: Excellent. Strongly recommended, beaten only by the very best.

## How to read this

- Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand.
- LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories.
- Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review.
- A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above.
