## Frequently asked questions

### Who is the Saatva Latex Pillow for?

The Saatva Latex Pillow is for anyone who wants a pillow that keeps its shape for years and does not sink flat overnight. It is the top pick on our pillows board and the only S tier product, praised for a durable latex core, long-lasting loft and a buoyant feel that rivals pricier memory foams. If you want to fine-tune the height yourself, the Coop Eden Adjustable Pillow in A tier lets you add or remove fill. If cool sleeping is your first priority, the Purple Harmony Pillow in B tier has a hybrid grid built for airflow.

### How long does the Saatva Latex Pillow last?

Longer than most. Reviewers praise the Saatva Latex Pillow for durable construction and a latex core that holds its loft over time, and latex is the fill that resists flattening the longest. Expect it to outlast a standard memory foam or fibre pillow. Replace it when it no longer springs back after you fold it in half.

### Is the Saatva Latex Pillow good for side sleepers?

Yes. Side sleepers need a pillow that stays tall enough to fill the gap between the shoulder and the head, and the buoyant latex core of the Saatva Latex Pillow is praised for exactly that. It does not compress flat under the weight of the head the way soft fibre pillows can. If you find any fixed-loft pillow slightly too high or too low, the Coop Eden Adjustable Pillow is the board pick that lets you change the height.

### Does the Saatva Latex Pillow sleep hot?

Latex is open-celled, so it breathes better than dense memory foam and the Saatva Latex Pillow should not trap heat the way a solid foam pillow does. Reviewers describe its feel as buoyant rather than enveloping, which also means less contact with your head. If you run very hot, the Purple Harmony Pillow on our board is the one reviewers single out for cool sleeping.

### How do you wash the Saatva Latex Pillow?

Do not machine wash a latex core. Remove the cover and wash that on its own, then spot clean the latex with mild soap and a damp cloth and let it air dry away from direct sun, which degrades latex. Use a pillow protector under the pillowcase to keep sweat and oils off the core. Latex does not need fluffing.

## What this tier means

- S: Exceptional. Finishes top run after run; capped at 3 slots per category.

## How to read this

- Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand.
- LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories.
- Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review.
- A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above.
