The V5 Max replaces it entirely. ## For - The marketing flagship buyers see everywhere - Full-size layout ## Against - Mandatory Synapse software - No hot-swap on the base mechanical version - Razer's long-documented QC lottery - Premium price for a plastic-and-aluminum build - a V5 Max does the full-size job better for half the money ## Flagged as one to avoid This product entered 3 of 6 runs as one buyers cross-shop but should not buy, rather than as a pick. It is published here rather than dropped. ## Evidence Consolidated from 19 cited sources across 17 outlets | Outlet | Said by | Stance | Link | Link status | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Golf Sky | Golf Sky | B | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C3-tFQOGCQ&vl=en | fetched and confirmed | | Pcmag | George Yang | B | https://www.pcmag.com/deals/best-buy-deals-of-the-day-razer-black-widow-v4-pro-keyboard-feb-20 | fetched and confirmed | | Facebook | - | B | https://www.facebook.com/phandroid/videos/meet-the-new-standard-for-enthusiast-grade-gaming-the-razer-blackwidow-v4-pro-75/838743355835072/ | fetched and confirmed | | Facebook | - | C | https://www.facebook.com/razer/posts/every-keypress-mechanical-precision-the-blackwidow-v4-pro-built-for-players-who-/1479006257588031/ | fetched and confirmed | | Reviewsinside | Reviewsinside | B | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MCn6g2Toxg | fetched and confirmed | | Tiktok | tiktok.com | B | https://www.tiktok.com/@fr.setup/video/7613469351655509271 | fetched and confirmed | | Tom's Hardware | tomshardware.com | C | https://www.tomshardware.com/peripherals/gaming-keyboards/best-gaming-keyboards | fetched and confirmed | | GH Tech Review | GH Tech Review | B | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JchRcF33X9k | fetched and confirmed | | Best Buy | Best Buy | B | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjN3nmN2NMI | fetched and confirmed | | G Style Magazine | gstylemag.com | B | https://gstylemag.com/2026/01/22/razer-blackwidow-v4-pro-75-percent-review/ | fetched and confirmed | | Digitalcitizen | digitalcitizen.life | B | https://www.digitalcitizen.life/razer-blackwidow-v4-pro-review/ | fetched and confirmed | | Golf Sky | Golf Sky | C | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C3-tFQOGCQ | fetched and confirmed | | Info of tech | Info of tech | B | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZMjMVYyK9Y | fetched and confirmed | | UK Pro Reviewer | UK Pro Reviewer | B | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erNPDNfDKyA | fetched and confirmed | | IGN | Michael Higham | B | https://www.ign.com/articles/best-gaming-keyboard | fetched and confirmed | | WanderLuxe | WanderLuxe | B | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnYGGHmok4w | fetched and confirmed | | Smart Shopper | Smart Shopper | C | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZJPa3DIUtQ&vl=en | fetched and confirmed | | GameSpace.com | Mitchell Gassner | A | https://gamespace.com/featured/razer-deathadder-v4-pro-esports-edition-review/ | fetched and confirmed | | Sahil Techzone | Sahil Techzone | B | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IV5z3yP3bHw | fetched and confirmed | ## Nearest alternatives on this board | Rank | Product | Tier | Page | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | Keychron Q5 Max | A | https://stierproducts.com/products/keychron-q5-max | | 2 | Wobkey Rainy 75 | A | https://stierproducts.com/products/wobkey-rainy-75 | | 3 | AULA F75 | A | https://stierproducts.com/products/aula-f75 | | 4 | Keychron V5 Max | A | https://stierproducts.com/products/keychron-v5-max | | 22 | Keychron C3 Pro | D | https://stierproducts.com/products/keychron-c3-pro | | 23 | NuPhy Halo75 V2 | D | https://stierproducts.com/products/nuphy-halo75-v2 | | 24 | Logitech G715 | D | https://stierproducts.com/products/logitech-g715 | | 25 | Asus ROG Azoth | F | https://stierproducts.com/products/asus-rog-azoth | | 26 | Logitech G915 X Lightspeed | F | https://stierproducts.com/products/logitech-g915-x-lightspeed | | 28 | Glorious GMMK 3 | F | https://stierproducts.com/products/glorious-gmmk-3 | The full board is at https://stierproducts.com/categories/mechanical-keyboards. ## What this tier means - F: Avoid. The evidence points you elsewhere. ## How to read this - Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand. - LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories. - Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review. - A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above. ## Image https://stspimgdevmfyk46r5vwkay.blob.core.windows.net/images/products/razer-blackwidow-v4-pro-mechanical-keyboards.webp Product photographs are not covered: they belong to their respective owners and are reproduced to illustrate the product being reviewed.
