## Frequently asked questions

### Who is the Purple Harmony Pillow for?

The Purple Harmony Pillow is for hot sleepers who want a pillow that stays cool and does not flatten. It sits in B tier on our pillows board, praised for a hybrid grid that resists flattening, cool construction and a premium feel at a mid-range price. If cool sleeping is not your main concern, the Saatva Latex Pillow in S tier is the board's top pick for long-lasting support, and the Coop Eden Adjustable Pillow in A tier is the choice if you want to set the height yourself.

### Does the Purple Harmony Pillow sleep cool?

Yes. Cool sleeping is the main reason reviewers single out the Purple Harmony Pillow, and it is the pillow on our board we point hot sleepers to first. Its hybrid grid is open so air moves through it rather than being trapped as it is in solid memory foam. The grid also keeps its shape instead of packing down into a dense, warm layer.

### How long does the Purple Harmony Pillow last?

Reviewers rate the Purple Harmony Pillow well for long-term performance and note that its hybrid grid resists flattening, which is the usual way a pillow wears out. Expect it to keep its loft longer than a standard foam or fibre pillow. Replace it once the grid no longer springs back evenly.

### Is the Purple Harmony Pillow good for side sleepers?

It can be, because the grid is supportive and holds its height under the head rather than collapsing. Side sleepers need enough loft to fill the gap between shoulder and head, so check the loft option you buy matches your shoulder width. If you are unsure of your loft, the Coop Eden Adjustable Pillow on our board lets you adjust it after purchase.

### How do you wash the Purple Harmony Pillow?

Wash the cover, not the core. Remove the cover and machine wash it on a gentle cycle, then air dry or tumble dry on low. Spot clean the grid core with mild soap and water and let it air dry fully before putting the cover back on. Do not put the core in a washing machine or dryer.

## What this tier means

- B: Good. A solid choice with real caveats worth knowing.

## How to read this

- Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand.
- LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories.
- Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review.
- A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above.
