## Verdict

Functional metal hardware, but a brand premium on commodity rabbit ears that independent testing found no better than the plain version. Buy a basic rabbit-ear set or the FLATenna 35.

## For

- Functional metal hardware
- Extendable rabbit-ear design that beats most flat antennas for VHF stations
- One of the cheapest working antennas in the category

## Against

- Independent YouTube review concludes it is 'not as good as' a plain set of rabbit ears connected directly
- You pay a brand premium for commodity hardware that has not changed in decades
- Does nothing for the UHF channels most people actually need
- Gives up convenience and aesthetics compared with flat panels

## Flagged as one to avoid

This product entered 1 of 2 runs as one buyers cross-shop but should not buy, rather than as a pick. It is published here rather than dropped.

## What this tier means

- B: Good. A solid choice with real caveats worth knowing.

## How to read this

- Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand.
- LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories.
- Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review.
- A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above.
