## Verdict

Genuinely decent build, but Forbes's fresh two-dozen-bag test crowned the Meta instead, and the Boxy is now the outdated design in its own lineup. Buy the Meta Backpack.

## For

- Genuinely decent build
- Still the boutique bag people screenshot when they decide to splurge
- Legacy silhouette that built the brand's name and still draws cross-shopping on reputation
- Iconic, beautifully built structured bag
- Lasts for years and resells well

## Against

- Heavier than the brand's newer design
- Less thoughtfully laid out
- Outclassed by the Meta Backpack inside its own lineup
- Outclassed within its own brand lineup by the Meta Backpack in Forbes Vetted's parent-panel test
- No current major guide backs it

## Flagged as one to avoid

This product entered 6 of 7 runs as one buyers cross-shop but should not buy, rather than as a pick. It is published here rather than dropped.

## What this tier means

- F: Avoid. The evidence points you elsewhere.

## How to read this

- Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand.
- LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories.
- Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review.
- A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above.
