## Frequently asked questions

### Who is the Petlibro Granary Camera Automatic Pet Feeder for?

Owners who want a mass-market connected feeder with a camera and a good app, and who accept Petlibro's uneven support record as the trade. It is the best-selling connected feeder family in the category and the best Petlibro on our board. If long-term support matters more than the camera, the Whisker Feeder-Robot ranks higher, and if you do not need an app, the PetSafe Healthy Pet Simply Feed is the board's top pick.

### Does the Petlibro Granary Camera Automatic Pet Feeder camera show that food was dispensed?

Yes, and that is its main advantage over other connected feeders. The camera lets you see the bowl after a scheduled meal, so you know the portion dropped rather than trusting a status message. For anyone who has been burned by a feeder that silently skipped a meal, that visual check is the feature worth paying for.

### Is the Petlibro Granary Camera Automatic Pet Feeder good for a cat on a diet?

Wirecutter cites the Granary line as a better choice for calorie-intake control, so yes, it is one of the board's two named calorie-control options. The other is the PawSync Smart Pet Feeder, which weighs each portion in grams rather than dispensing by volume and is the more precise of the two. Pick the Granary if you also want the camera and a more established product line.

### How reliable is the Petlibro Granary Camera Automatic Pet Feeder?

Better than Petlibro's reputation suggests, but the brand still weighs on it. Owner-reported reliability and support across Petlibro products is uneven, and that is the single con the board records against this model. The Granary itself has decent anti-jam mechanics and the camera gives you a way to catch a missed meal, which is more than most connected feeders offer.

### Does the Petlibro Granary Camera Automatic Pet Feeder jam?

Jams are not a notable complaint. The board's research credits it with decent anti-jam mechanics, and the camera lets you spot a blocked outlet without being in the room. Keep the hopper dry and avoid very large or oddly shaped kibble, which is general advice for any auger-style feeder.

## What this tier means

- B: Good. A solid choice with real caveats worth knowing.

## How to read this

- Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand.
- LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories.
- Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review.
- A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above.
