## Verdict

Ranked ninth: the aluminum frame targets the two most common checked-bag failures, but the brand's short track record is the unknown that keeps it out of the top half.

## For

- Aluminum frame and corner protection address the two most common checked-bag failures: handle and shell-edge breakage
- Positions its check-in line as the full-size complement to carry-on-focused brands
- A realistic cross-shop against Away at a lower commitment
- Flagship-style polycarbonate construction without the flagship marketing budget
- Keeps appearing in current tested roundups without embarrassing itself

## Against

- Brand's long-term support track record is short compared with Travelpro, Samsonite and Briggs & Riley
- Young brand with an unproven long-term support and parts record
- Independent specialist coverage is thinner than for the bags above it
- Frame adds weight that costs in airline fees every trip
- Brand too young to have a meaningful multi-year failure record

## Flagged as one to avoid

This product entered 2 of 12 runs as one buyers cross-shop but should not buy, rather than as a pick. It is published here rather than dropped.

## What this tier means

- F: Avoid. The evidence points you elsewhere.

## How to read this

- Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand.
- LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories.
- Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review.
- A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above.
