## Verdict

The category's marketing flagship, with the loudest claims in the category, an 8/20 independent score, transparency red flags and scattered-light concessions from its own supporters. Buyers should look at the Shark Beauty CryoGlow or CurrentBody Series 2 instead.

## For

- The most powerful mask on the market, per even its sympathetic reviewers
- The most powerful mask on the market, per one long-term review
- Some long-term users are happy with it
- Four-layer LED system
- Targets multiple concerns

## Against

- Scored 8 out of 20 by an independent review citing bold claims, underwhelming results, and transparency red flags
- Uses scattered light, per even its sympathetic long-term reviewers
- Positive user reports are self-reported without controls
- A 12-week independent test concluded it did not go well
- The most heavily marketed mask of the moment, and the one specialist testers like least

## Flagged as one to avoid

This product entered 4 of 6 runs as one buyers cross-shop but should not buy, rather than as a pick. It is published here rather than dropped.

## What this tier means

- F: Avoid. The evidence points you elsewhere.

## How to read this

- Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand.
- LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories.
- Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review.
- A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above.
