Builders who want a 360mm liquid cooler at air-cooler money. The research quotes GamersNexus naming it a Best Budget CPU Cooler in its 2025 roundup of 26 tested coolers, and says it matches the Corsair Nautilus 360 RS for roughly half the money. It is also the liquid cooler the research tells buyers of the MSI MAG CoreLiquid A13 360 to get instead. If you can spend more, the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 in S tier brings a 6-year warranty. If you do not need liquid, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE in B tier is the budget air equivalent. ### What is the better alternative to the ID-COOLING FX360 PRO on this board? The Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360, the only S tier cooler on our board. It costs more, but the research rates it the best AIO to actually own, with top thermals and a 6-year warranty Arctic has a strong record of honoring. If the appeal of the ID-COOLING FX360 PRO is the price, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE in B tier gives near-flagship air cooling for budget money with no pump to fail. ### Why is the ID-COOLING FX360 PRO only in C tier? The research lists no cons and praises the value, so the C tier placement reflects where it finished across 6 research runs rather than a known flaw. Its case rests on price, and the board ranks ownership factors such as warranty length and support reputation heavily. The research does not give a warranty figure for it, whereas the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 above it has 6 years and a strong claims record. ### How long does the ID-COOLING FX360 PRO last? The research does not state a warranty or a field record for it. As an all-in-one liquid cooler it is subject to pump wear and gradual coolant permeation, so plan on a finite service life rather than a lifetime part. The upside of the low price is that replacing it when the pump tires costs about what a good air cooler does. ### Will the ID-COOLING FX360 PRO fit my case? It needs a 360mm radiator mount, which means three 120mm fan positions in a row at the top or front of the case. Check the case maker's radiator support list and allow for the radiator and fan thickness against motherboard heatsinks and memory. Mount the radiator with its top edge higher than the pump so any air pocket settles in the radiator. ## What this tier means - C: Fair. Acceptable in the right situation, outclassed at its price. ## How to read this - Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand. - LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories. - Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review. - A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above. ## Image https://stspimgdevmfyk46r5vwkay.blob.core.windows.net/images/products/id-cooling-fx360-pro.webp Product photographs are not covered: they belong to their respective owners and are reproduced to illustrate the product being reviewed.
