## Verdict

The audiophile darling this lens exists to catch: the sound is genuinely superb and everyone says so, but HiFiMan's QC and support reputation plus a heavy wired-only design make long-term ownership a gamble. For wired use with real parts availability, buy the Sony MDR-7506 or Sennheiser HD 280 Pro instead.
