## Verdict

The best-built drone here and the top of DJI's support ladder, ranked second only because most owners do not need this much drone.

## For

- Produces stills up to 100MP
- Incredibly easy to fly, even in wind
- Accessible to all pilots
- Flagship build quality with a gimbal design built to survive years of travel
- Space.com names it the best drone overall, praising still resolutions of up to 100MP and 6K video

## Against

- Expensive
- Flagship capability most buyers will never exercise
- Newest, most complex flagship with the shortest proven track record
- Availability and service situation in some markets is less settled than the Air line's
- Costs far more than drones that cover most buyers' needs

## Flagged as one to avoid

This product entered 1 of 18 runs as one buyers cross-shop but should not buy, rather than as a pick. It is published here rather than dropped.

## What this tier means

- S: Exceptional. Finishes top run after run; capped at 3 slots per category.

## How to read this

- Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand.
- LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories.
- Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review.
- A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above.
