Parents who want a light seat with strong safety scores and a comfortable fit for the baby. Reviewers praise the Cybex Cloud T for high safety scores, lightweight construction, comfortable seating and ease of use, which earns it B tier at rank 5. It has no recorded complaints, but it has less reviewer consensus than the seats above it. If you want the most evidence behind your choice, the Chicco KeyFit 35 and the Nuna PIPA RX are the S tier picks, and the Clek Liing is the lightweight alternative with a top crash-test rating. ### How safe is the Cybex Cloud T? Our research credits the Cybex Cloud T with high safety scores and strong safety features, and it has no recorded safety complaints. Reviewers describe it as combining top safety performance with a lightweight design. Every seat sold in the US passes the same federal crash standard, so the differences between board seats are margin above that floor. ### How long does the Cybex Cloud T last? Reviewers say Cybex's engineering keeps the Cybex Cloud T reliable beyond the first few years, so it should serve more than one child. As with any infant seat, the baby outgrows it by height or weight around the first birthday. Check the expiry date on the shell before reusing it. ### Is the Cybex Cloud T comfortable for a baby? Comfortable seating is one of the repeated findings for the Cybex Cloud T in our research, alongside its lightweight construction. That combination suits parents who carry the seat often and want the baby settled in it. No comfort complaints are recorded. ### Does the Cybex Cloud T fit a stroller? Yes, as an infant carrier it clicks onto Cybex strollers directly and onto most major stroller brands with an adapter. Adapters are specific to the seat and stroller pairing, so confirm yours is listed before buying. ## What this tier means - B: Good. A solid choice with real caveats worth knowing. ## How to read this - Each category is researched in four independent runs, one per lens (expert consensus, value, reliability, community pulse). Every run ranks a board of candidates that deliberately includes products buyers cross-shop but should avoid. Placements score on a ranked ladder (LP), and tiers are derived from LP, so no tier is ever assigned by hand. - LP is this product's points on its own category ladder. It is comparable within a category and not across categories. - Link status reports what our pre-publication link check found when it fetched the cited URL. It says nothing about the quality of the review. - A citation with no usable link is listed rather than dropped, and is excluded from the counted total above. ## Image https://stspimgdevmfyk46r5vwkay.blob.core.windows.net/images/products/cybex-cloud-t.webp Product photographs are not covered: they belong to their respective owners and are reproduced to illustrate the product being reviewed.
